Do you sell puppies?
This is the most frequent question we get. While we have 7 -10 litters per year, our kennel’s focus is capitalizing on the genetic potential of the animals we have. Offering our dogs as trained dogs just makes sense to us. A person could spend $3,000 on a puppy with the best pedigree in the world, but if that dog is not raised and trained properly it will never realize its potential. Good genetics are only ever recognized if the animal is developed. We have done years of research to have the best possible animals in our kennel, and by training them we know we have let them realize their true potential and the families who adopt them receive the benefit of having a Labrador with not only great genetics, but wonderful trained abilities as well.
What is provided with the dog?
Each of our trained dogs are sent home with a complete registration (AKC), up-to-date shots for 1 year from pick up, a complete health record, our exclusive 36-month health contract, as well as a training leash, whistle and a 30-day transitional training booklet to make sure your first month at home goes as smoothly as possible. At pickup, you can expect to spend 1-2 days with a Family Companion Gun Dog for your personalized training. Our Family Companion Dog owners will get a day of one-on-one training to get the whole family familiar with your dog and its abilities.
What should I bring when picking up a dog?
When picking up your dog it is recommended that you bring a crate that is size appropriate for the age of your animal. This ensures a safe trip home and a stress-free trip as well.
