Details
When it comes to western fly-fishing, there are few places like Bozeman, Montana. Our regional fisheries include the Yellowstone, Madison, Gallatin, and Jefferson rivers as the “headliners.” As one starts to look closer, however, there are dozens of small streams and rivers with names that are unfamiliar to even the most seasoned western trout fisherman, each having their own uniqueness as a quality wild-trout fishery. This diversity of accessible, wild-trout waters is really what sets Bozeman apart and makes for a wonderful location to both learn the basics of fly fishing or improve your skills on the water.

Fins and Feathers of Bozeman is full service fly shop and guide service here in the Gallatin Valley and are the instructors for the Orvis Fly Fishing School in Bozeman. Their guide service was recognized as the “2010 Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Outfitter” as a result of their commitment to providing exceptional guided fly fishing experiences. Teaching anglers of all skill levels how to fly fish or improve their skills on the water is their passion.

The Orvis Fly Fishing School in Bozeman is located at Montana Troutchaser's, just outside of Bozeman, near Gallatin Gateway, MT. This boutique fishing lodge offers private access to the Gallatin River, a casting pond, gourmet meals, and well-appointed suites for our overnight guests.
