This special opportunity begins with our elite team of instructors guiding you through our instructional shooting areas, and improving every detail of your wingshooting technique. Clay target presentations will mimic real quail hunting scenarios, and students will build confidence and comfort through practice. Our corps of seasoned instructors will polish your wingshooting skills, or teach you from the ground up, in order that you might seamlessly transfer your skills into the quail field.
The second day of the course will be spent in the fields of the Black Prairie alongside an instructor and field guide. Here, skills learned on the clays course are put into practice, as you hunt quail over top-notch pointing and flushing dogs. Dedicated professionals will teach the many aspects of quail hunting, including safety in the field, the role of the pointer, how to handle multiple shooters, and the correct time to shoot a bird.
This is a great opportunity for aspiring upland hunters, offering not only improvement on the practice range, but continued instruction and improvement in a real-world hunting environment. What better way to learn the sport or become a better and more productive upland hunter.
