Whitakers's Tip of the Week
At this point the majority of steelhead have completed the spawning process and returned to the lake. The few remaining steelhead in the river are scattered throughout and the lower end of the river has been producing the most action as of recently. Anglers have been finding the drop backs holding in the deeper holes and larger runs. Covering lots of water has been the key to success. With the water temperature reaching 50 degrees the smallmouth bass action has also picked up in the lower end of the river.
