Forrester's Big Horn River Resort's Tip of the Week
We had an amazing start to the week with temps in upper 60s and 70s! Took some clients out Mon & Tues, Fishing was great with Tan Sowbugs, Black/Red Midges, and Baetis. We did see a bunch of rising fish along the Grey Cliffs but no takers in that area. We did get into a great pod of rainbows later in the day that were on a steady eat and put 5 in the net on BWOs. The nymph and streamer fishing has been consistent. Windy today, so fish heavier nymphs to get a better drift or fish streamers in the deeper holes or tight to the bank. We have been seeing some rising fish throughout the top 13 miles. The fish are eating midges and midge clusters! Our season is booking up, but still have some great days open for your next visit to The Bighorn River. Contact us for booking and fishing information!
